Coastal-inspired Handmade Jewelry
If summer at the beach had a jewelry box, we’re pretty sure Seaside Serene would be inside it.
Our June collection, Seaside Serene, was designed to capture the peaceful, sun-washed beauty of the shore through soft color, luminous texture, and timeless materials. With a palette of peach, white, teal, and cream, this collection feels like an early morning walk by the water—calm, refreshing, and just a little dreamy.
This collection includes nine pieces total: three necklaces, three bracelets, and three pairs of earrings. Within the collection are three coordinating sub-sets, each with its own distinct personality while still blending beautifully into the larger Seaside Serene story. Whether you’re drawn to soft neutrals, glowing pearls, or rich ocean-inspired color, there’s a little shoreline magic in every design.

Mother of Pearl
One of the stars of this oceanside collection is mother of pearl, which appears as the focal pendant in each necklace. Mother of pearl has been treasured for centuries and is formed from the inner lining of certain shells, giving it that unmistakable soft glow. It has been used in jewelry, decorative art, and even buttons for generations. What makes it so special is its natural luster—there’s a quiet shimmer to it that feels elegant without trying too hard. In this collection, the mother of pearl pendants bring a gentle, beach-found beauty that feels perfectly at home in Seaside Serene.

White, Freshwater, and Peacock Pearls
Of course, we couldn’t create a coastal-inspired collection without pearls. Pearls have a long and fascinating history, and have long been associated with elegance, beauty, and timeless style. In Seaside Serene, we used several varieties, including white cultured pearls, peach freshwater pearls, and peacock pearls. Each type brings something a little different to the collection. White pearls offer that classic, luminous look we all know and love. Peach pearls add warmth and softness, almost like the blush of sunrise over the water. Peacock pearls, with their deeper iridescent tones, bring richness and a little dramatic flair—in the best possible way, of course.

Italian Onyx
Another standout material in this collection is Italian Onyx, featured in one of the sub-sets alongside peach freshwater pearls. Onyx has been used in jewelry and carving for thousands of years, with a history that stretches back to ancient civilizations. It has long been admired for both its beauty and durability. The cream Italian Onyx used in this collection offers a softer, more understated take on the stone, giving us lovely natural variation and creamy neutral tones that pair beautifully with peach pearls. It’s classic, but in a relaxed, coastal way—very “effortlessly put together,” even if you’re actually running late.

Apatite
We also featured Apatite, a gemstone loved for its beautiful blue-green tones. Apatite is especially fitting for Seaside Serene because its color can be so reminiscent of tropical water and sea glass. It may not be as widely recognized as some stones, but that’s part of its charm. Jewelry lovers are often drawn to Apatite for its vivid color and unique character. In this collection, the small Apatite beads add freshness, sparkle, and that little pop of ocean color that ties the deeper peacock pearls and teal mother of pearl pendants together so beautifully.

Why Natural Stones are Superior
One of the things we love most about working with these materials is that they are natural, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. Pearls vary in shape and luster, mother of pearl can show subtle shifts in tone, and stones like Italian Onyx and Apatite naturally have slight differences in color and pattern. In other words, your piece has its own personality. Just like people, but usually with less emotional baggage.
Because these pieces are made with natural stones, pearls, and sterling silver components, a little care goes a long way. To help your Seaside Serene jewelry stay beautiful, store each piece in a soft pouch or separate compartment to help prevent scratches. Avoid exposing it to water, lotion, perfume, hairspray, or household cleaners, since pearls and natural stones can be more delicate than they look. It’s also a good idea to put your jewelry on last when getting ready and take it off first at the end of the day. For cleaning, simply use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the piece after wearing.
The Why Behind our Seaside Serene Jewelry Collection
Seaside Serene was created to feel peaceful, feminine, and easy to wear—like a deep breath in jewelry form. With its three coordinated sub-sets, nine handcrafted pieces, and a blend of luminous pearls, glowing mother of pearl, Italian Onyx, and Apatite, this collection celebrates the beauty of natural materials and the calm inspiration of the coast.
Basically, if the ocean decided to be elegant and well-accessorized, this would be the result.
Until next time,
Dianna
